Caesarea - Roman Aqueduct

Caesarea - Roman Aqueduct

Roman Aqueduct at Caesarea on the Mediterranean coast just south of Haifa. This aqueduct brought water from springs almost 10 miles away. Caesarea was an important ancient port and administrative city of Palestine. Caesarea was the home of Cornelius, the Roman centurion, who was preached to by Peter. Here also Paul’s case was heard by Felix, the Roman governor.
